Iliada Beach Hotel - Gouvia

Iliada Beach Hotel impressed me with its beautiful setting and friendly atmosphere. The views from my superior double room looked right over Gouvia bay. The restaurant had a great menu with delicious meals, and the breakfast options changed every day, catering to various dietary needs, including gluten-free choices. Staff were multilingual and always ready to assist, helping me book a cruise to Paxos without any hassle. The location was a major plus-only a stone's throw from the beach and a short walk to local amenities. I did find some areas to improve. The bathroom cleanliness needed more attention. The floor was like it required a mop on a couple of occasions. Another downside was the high cost for sunbeds at the beach, especially since towels weren't provided either. It felt cute and accommodating throughout my time there.

The view to a very green garden from our tastefully decorated and new-fashioned room was great! There were an electric kettle and a fridge in the room too. The hotel's position was unbeatable and magnificent, near the beach and the village, a nice bay, and Iliada.

For a cozy atmosphere, enjoy the on-site restaurant with beautiful beach views and don't miss their daily happy hour for refreshing drinks.

Everything was perfect, incredibly attentive stuff, excellent location so close to the restaurants, the village with a lot of options for food and the center of the village. It was a lovely stay during our holidays, do recommend this place.

Temperature control issues in rooms can lead to uncomfortable heat!!! Consider improving the soundproofing for lower-level rooms to minimize disturbances from common areas!!! More attention to bathroom cleanliness is definitely needed!!!

Had a lovely time visiting nearby attractions like Lazaretto Island and the WW1 Serbian Soldiers Memorial. The location is perfect, being only a short walk from the beach and close to amenities. The room was spotless and had a great view. The breakfast spread was decent and offered plenty of local options, making it a nice start to our mornings.

The food was fantastic, with a notably delicious selection of fish and chips that I enjoyed thoroughly. Beach access was convenient, nice for effortless relaxation by the sea. The air conditioning struggled at times was good. There were instances of inconsistent bathroom cleanliness, disappointing. Lastly, the Wi-Fi signal in my room could be unreliable, affecting my ability to stay connected.

Not Ideal for a Peaceful Stay

The beach is right across the street-- you can even grab the wi-fi from the long chair,, and, made lounging easier,, you know? Plus, every day we got fresh room cleaning, and it seemed like home.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but considering some things, it was alright.

It was just a fitting option for a short weekend trip in Gouvia with really good value. The cleaning service was always prompt, so we returned to fresh rooms daily. Make sure to enjoy the balcony for evening relaxation.

Had a fantastic week at Iliada Beach Hotel! The location was perfect, right across the street from the beach. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was good, with a variety of options available each morning, and the on-site restaurant served exquisite Greek and Mediterranean meals. I really appreciated the air conditioning included in the room price and the free parking nearby.

The room matched the photos perfectly, a relief. The reception staff were kind and allowed us to check in early. The cleaning staff were really good, offering to refresh our towels even when we said we didn't need service. The garden view from our room added a lovely touch to our mornings as we started our day.

The garden area is such a peaceful little spot for morning coffee. The staff is super friendly, especially when they remembered my order at the cafe! Only thing is, the wifi in my room was kinda spotty, but not a huge deal. It was a fab experience.
